About Us

The Harvard College Association for U.S.-China Relations (HAUSCR) is a student-run organization recognized by Harvard University. We are dedicated to promoting the exchange of ideas and opportunities between students from Harvard University and from all across China. Each year, HAUSCR organizes a series of cross-cultural exchange programs in Harvard, Beijing, and Shanghai, including Harvard’s largest summer program in China, collectively changing the lives of over 1,500 students annually around the globe. HAUSCR’s flagship program, the annual HAUSCR Summit for Young Leaders in China (HSYLC) is a week of exploration and development for Chinese high-school students conducted by Harvard undergraduates, faculty, and prominent leaders from both nations. At home, HAUSCR educates the Harvard community on the issues that confront the US and China with a unique mix of political, artistic, career-oriented, and cultural activities such as the U.S. Programs Symposium.
