We are given ample amount of opportunities to socialize and communicate with Harvard students, through various programs like seminars, study groups, and writing programs. From interacting with those outstanding students from such world-renowned university, I truly learnt a lot. After talking to them, we now have a clearer idea of the American college life, and the diversity even across American colleges, and even the gossips and dissatisfactions harvard students have about their school.

There are so much fun outside of the seminar classrooms. In extracurricular activities, harvard students and us danced together, made necklaces together, drawn together, and even played ultimate Frisbee togher… There are great joy in learning, and great learning in playing.

After the nine-day summit, i had a lot of new friends on xiaonei.com. A lot of them i still keep in touch with. Recently there is even a reunion in Shangahi. This furthered my belief that the experience of Hsylc is not limited to the nine-days. The freinds you make accompanies you for a life-time. ”

The eight-day activity changed me a lot, including my view of life and worth. Now I feel I have a better view of my future, and what I need to do is walk more steadily and on my road and try to make a difference.

I know how an ordinary Harvard student lives through the hosting experience. That’s perfect already. It’s definitely better than living in a hotel.

Before I attend the program, I know no body in Harvard. But during the symposium, I met so many wonderful HAUSCRers there, these are the thing I treasure most.

During the exchange program in Harvard, firstly, I made a lot of friends, with whom we talk about contemporary education, economy, political systems and other appealing topics with each other. My life as a hostee in Mather House is colorful, because I experienced the real life in Harvard, which combined with classes, group discussion, and exciting extracurricular activities.
The lunch with professor Mankiw was very enjoyable, as everyone laughed at the table when Mankiw told us a funny story about how his little son ordered President Bush to “treat his daddy well”. I also appreciated the VIP breakfast with Secretary Elaine Chao who shared with us her personal story as a Chinese girl to struggle up in American society. It was really inspiring to listen to her eloquent speech face to face.
