The Harvard College Association for U.S.-China Relations (HAUSCR) gives Harvard students the chance to create life-changing programs that impact thousands of students across China. Our four conferences—HSYLC, China Thinks Big, Dean’s List, and HWeek—impact over 10,000 students each year and open new channels of cross-cultural exchange, with an emphasis on training and educating future leaders of the US and China.
Through efforts like bringing liberal arts seminars and university-level research methods to Chinese high school students, we encourage young minds to dare to explore, dream big, and aspire to become trailblazers in their hometowns and beyond. Our students have gone on to study at leading academic institutions, create solutions to pressing social issues, and all cite participating in HAUSCR’s programs as turning points in their lives.
Just as we care deeply about fostering growth in students through our programs, we are just as committed to fostering growth in the HAUSCR associate. As a member of HAUSCR, you can expect to develop rapidly as a leader and an individual.
Not only will you gain valuable conference planning and management skills, you will connect with a global alumni network spanning thousands of members, each one with a unique HAUSCR story to tell and professional opportunities to share with you.
